Core to the I-Lab mission is the importance of storytelling: discovering the individual, their ideas, and the intersecting experiences that each person brings to their field. Our lives, cultures, and classrooms are composed of overlapping stories and experiences. Each student and teacher comes to the classroom with all of their cultural experiences - their language, heritage, race, class, and more. In this TED Talk, Chimamanda Adichie shares her story about finding her authentic cultural voice.
